KTZ var mere eller mindre en leg for os, men den kræver en hel del koncentration fra healers. Reaktionstiden var i top på sidste forsøg, og det blev belønnet med Hunter loot+Feral staff og Tier head til Thais. Tillykke og kanon arbejde!
Nu hvor alle wings er cleared og efter hård stræben lykkedes det at nakke Sapph, er vi på randen til at cleare Naxx.10 med progress raids. Vi prøvede KTZ et par gange, men KTZ er ikke en realitet uden en ordentlig offtank til den sidste fase - hvilket vi ikke havde til Sapph, pga. udskiftninger. Men det holder os ikke tilbage næste gang og vi vil stort set være igennem næste uge !
There is definitely a lot of AE (area effect damage) going on in World of Warcraft dungeon runs at the moment. We’re not too worried about it for now – on the contrary it’s nice to see so many people doing the level-up dungeons on the way to level 80. If we find that AE tank + AE damage strategy (with no sheeping, sapping or other crowd control) is the only way people are running heroics and raids, then we’ll probably make some changes, but for now we’re content to just see what happens.
Having said all that, we feel like a few groups are being left out of the AE fun, which makes them of less utility in the 5-player dungeons. We aren’t able to provide a lot of details yet, but here are some upcoming changes we’re making.
Shaman – we are removing the threat component from Fire Nova Totem and Magma Totem and increasing the damage from Magma Totem. This should provide the Elemental shamans in particular with some formidable AE.
Rogue – we are removing the cooldown from Fan of Knives and adjusting the damage calculation slightly to make daggers more useful for this ability.
Druid – we are adding Swipe (Cat) as a baseline ability.
As is the case with most multi-target abilities, these three should be something you want to use when faced with groups, but never against single targets. Fan of Knives and Swipe, for example, don’t grant combo points so they should never be a core part of the rotation against single targets (like most bosses).
These changes will be available in the next minor content update, so keep an eye out for the next PTR
TwentyFifthNovember kills Sartharion with 3 adds up
This time, we can really say that TwentyFifthNovember cleared all the PvE content currently available in Wrath of the Lich King. They managed to kill Sartharion with all his adds up and were rewarded with the Reins of the Twilight Drake! I'm not really sure if it's worth discussing whether it was too easy or not, just keep in mind that they're the best PvE guild in the world for the moment, that's 60~80 players out of 11 millions.

Tanking in WotLK
The goal is roughly equivalent. The goal is not identical. Identical would mean making all abilities identical, down to things like Divine Shield and Innervate. I also want to caution you all that there are plenty of players who are concerned about the degree of homogenization we’ve done to get the tank classes as close as they are. It’s cool for everyone to have their different visions for what the game should be, just make sure not to impose your vision on everyone else. There are eleven million people playing WoW….
As far as the other arguments are concerned…
-- You can argue that our design is for warriors to be the best tanks. But I can debunk that right here. It's not. They will probably be superior in some cases and inferior in others, but never to the extent that you bench the warrior and bring in another class for a certain fight.
-- You can argue that some classes need to tank worse than others to compensate for their other abilities or degree of hybrid-ness. But that is not our design.
-- You can argue that some classes end up being better tanks for some reason or another. This is a totally legit concern. I don’t think we have any evidence that this is really happening yet, but it is something we pay a lot of attention to.
-- In Classic WoW there was really only one tank, the warrior.
-- In Burning Crusade, we added two other tanks, but the design was that they were typically used in an OT role. There were exceptions of course.
-- The design for Lich King is four tanking classes. You should be able to raid in Lich King without a warrior tank, or without a warrior period. You can replace “warrior” in that sentence with 9 other classes. One of the reasons we spent so much time on the warrior Prot tree is we wanted to compensate them for removing them from the “best tank” pedestal, or at least making room up there for …
Gear upgrades in WotLK
Because we didn't make any big changes to gear itemization the improvements aren't as drastic in this expansion. If we assumed every player already had season 2 gear and made improvements to that from the initial quests, that would put some players at a disadvantage which we don't want to do.
Battle for Undercity hotfixed
The hotfix for this should be going live within the hour. We'll need a server restart for it to take effect, but after that the event should no longer hang. Thanks for all of the feedback. You should be able to take the portal in Stormwind Keep back to Undercity and pick the quest back up from Broll (assuming you were on the Battle for the Undercity quest). (Source)

(9095)) Hunter concerns (Source) Survival against magic - We think survival against magic is a legit concern, and unfortunately gets overshadowed by (some) hunters concerns versus melee. We are discussing changing Deterrence. Aspect of the Beast - We're not sure what we're going to do with Beast, but as you said, for now we basically consider the choice at 80 to be Dragonhawk vs. Viper. PvP against rogues - Dismantle - I think discussion of this one would end up taking over the whole thread. Bottom line is we wanted to give rogues a cool new ability. Og for at holde traditionen tro, var det en franskmand der gjorde det på 27 timer og gutten var fra Drel'thar. Da TBC kom ud var det også en franskmand, faktisk 2, der nåede 60-70 på 27 timer. Dog med en mage. Men afsted drenge! Vi har langt endnu xD
